SPHEREboard 4.5 Release Notes: IAM in BETA, ARM updates and more

SPHEREboard Release Notes is an ongoing highlights reel of recent product improvements we’ve made.

WHAT’S NEW

Identity Access Management Module. Now in BETA. The IAM dashboard features a 360^oview of the relationships between users, applications, permissions and roles across the organization. This supplements the asset review process by providing the application or role owner with information specific to that application (functions, roles and users directly permissioned).

Asset Review Status. A few new charts and tables are hitting the ARM Admin page to better visualize status and access for a given asset.

AD Group and User Details. New table options and dashboard cards, including:

“Permissioned to Data” card, which provides all the Collections where the Group has explicit access to.
User Details page which provides all the Collections where the User has direct access, as well as, any Collection where the user is a member of a group that has explicit access.

Sensitive Total Instances. New to UDM. You are able to sort by this and add filters for other security issues. There is a sum of Low Risk Sensitive, Medium Risk Sensitive, Low Risk Sensitive and No Risk Sensitive.

Fixed: My Assets group tab column and button updates.

Fixed: Asset Ownership card fields.

Plus we’ve delivered even more …

Visibility: We created an Admin Interface in SPHEREboard administration that can allow the user to select, drag and drop files to be ingested.
Quality: Bug fixes and performance improvements span every module.
Usability: Admins can now manage some of the settings via a new page called SPHEREboard Settings.
