SPHERE participated in the Hoboken Business Center’s Annual Career Academy at their US Headquarters in Hoboken, NJ on September 28th. As New Jersey’s fastest growing, woman-owned firm, SPHERE was pleased to host a large group of high school students.
Throughout the course of the day, employees devoted their time and efforts towards imparting knowledge and wisdom upon eager students. They shed light on the intricacies of corporate culture and the vast array of potential career paths within the field of Information Technology. President and Founder, Rita Gurevich, shared her invaluable insights and remarkable journey as a pioneering entrepreneur, while also showcasing her team’s skills in crafting statements of work and hosting product and service webinars.
Rita’s journey to become an industry leader inspired one student to pursue their own aspirations and make their dreams a reality. “Seeing how she went from working by herself to having this company was exciting, makes me feel that I can do what I want, too” the student later stated.
After spending the day at the Hoboken office with the young students, a sense of pride overwhelmed Rita. “Working with kids to show them how they can reach their full potential just emboldens me to help more in the community. It was my absolute pleasure to contribute to this event.”
